At this time, there are no live televised Brazilian Serie A events but we show you a history with the TV guide of the last broadcast seen on television.

We will update this Brazilian Serie A agenda on TV when we receive confirmation from official media of the next live televised events of Brazilian Serie A.

Since the beginning of this website, 20 live televised events have been published.

The first event published was on 24 May 2025 and the channel that broadcast Brazilian Serie A matches the most times was Fanatiz with a total of 20.

The Serie A Brazil is the top soccer division in the country . The competition started in 1959 under the name Taça Brasil . Starting in 1967, the Roberto Gomes Pedrosa Tournament began to be played. The titles of both championships were not recognized as official by the CBF until 2010. After the triumph of the National Team in the 1970 World Cup, the president of the country decided to reform it and call it the National Championship . It began to be played with 20 members and had a format much more similar to that used in Europe.

The competition is held every year between the months of May and December with the participation of 20 clubs. Each one faces all their rivals on two occasions, once in their own stadium and the other visiting their opponent's, until completing the 38 rounds. The classification is established according to the points obtained by each one. In case of equality of score between two competitors, the rules establish the number of matches won, the general goal difference and the goals in favor as the first tiebreaker criteria.

Since 2016, the top six of the classification of Serie A Brazil have obtained a place in the Copa Libertadores . The Top 4 go straight to the group stage. This number may vary depending on the winners of other competitions such as the Copa do Brasil , the Copa Sudamericana or the Libertadores itself. Those who finish between seventh and twelfth place, access the Copa Sudamericana . The four with the fewest points are relegated to Serie B Brazil .

The money from the televisions is a percentage to be taken into account in the budgets of the Brazilian teams. Currently, the broadcasting rights are exclusively held by Grupo Globo . It broadcasts the matches through its platforms Rede Globo, SporTV and Premiere FC . Globo has broadcast the league since its inception. Some games for the title have reached a rating of 53 points on Brazilian television, being an event of great interest to the audience.
In United Kingdom you can follow the televised matches of Serie A Brazil by Fanatiz .

More than 15 different clubs know what it means to be proclaimed champions of Serie A Brazil . São Paulo, Palmeiras, Santos, Corinthians and Flamengo have done so more than five times. As in the Copa do Brasil, the teams from the state of São Paulo are the most successful.

Bahia was the first champion of the competition. The 16 winners of the state tournaments participated in the inaugural edition. It was held under a roundtrip direct elimination format. A third game was played in the qualifying rounds that ended in equality. Tricolor defeated Santos 1-3 in Maracanã to become the winner.
